DocuSign goes local

Digital signing operator DocuSign is setting up shop in three Australian data centres.

DocuSign said it would prioritise its public sector customers in these new facilities, which it said supported the highest level of data privacy.

"The Federal Government is focused on delivering data accessibility and unmatched privacy to its internal and external stakeholders – and we believe that preparing, sharing, signing and managing agreements is a key part of this," said DocuSign vice-president Brad Newton.

"That's why we're looking for our news today to help the government meet community expectations for digital convenience and the key objectives of its Digital Transformation Agency."

The company claims to comply with government regulations and frameworks around the world, and is certified under ISO27001 and SSAE 18, SOC 1 Type 2, SOC 2 Type 2, PCI, BCR, and FedRAMP.
